Delhi is fighting for justice and this is not the first time (refer Bus gang rape). We are bounded by many social, emotional, mythological and historical facts to think that women are weak. In my opinion its not our history or mythology which paints a miserable and weak picture of a female but its our choice to look at weaker side. Feel empowered and just look forward and show it to everyone that women of India are not miserable at all. But to fight back its very very important to choose and believe that you deserve to be treated equally. I have seen many cases where mothers, girls, sisters, my friends started accepting dominance for dresses they have to wear food they have to cook, friends they have to be with or avoid, they have to work or not, how to behave or act. Until unless we will not feel that what we want is right and important not for any other person but for you/me, we can not make a change.
The change we are seeking right now is not possible without changing our though process. We always have two sides to look at, look at the bright side to make a better tomorrow.
“Social change refers to an alteration in the social order of a society. The base of social change is change in the thought process in humans. It may refer to the notion of social progress or sociocultural evolution, the philosophical idea that society moves forward by dialectical or evolutionary means.”
